Goya empezó en el taller de Bayeu y fue éste quien lo metió en la corte. De hecho Bayeu era el jefe de Goya en la fabrica de tapíces. De ahí que el estilo "primitivo" de Goya en sus cartones se parezca al de Bayeu.
