Brouwerij Adept (Winksele, Belgium) was founded in 2017 in "De Smederij", an old forge revamped as a place to meet people, eat and drink. Brewmaster Dimitri Staelens is university educated in the craft and worked for large beer companies before: a recipe for success.

Ārpus is the most popular brewery of the Baltic States (as per Untappd) and their beers are highly rated. The brewery from Latvia indeed creates highly tasty brews. The name means "outside" or "beyond".

Still low-key planning a couple of days to Hamburg, so fun to cover across Astra on the #BeerCalendar (Jan 6). In their brew pub in St Pauli (known for the Reeperbahn) one can sample their creative brews, which are brewed further south in the city.

Berging Brouwerij from Purmerend (NL) has a simple motto: brew uncomplicated beers that are still unique. Their names are also uncomplicated: B2, B3 and B4 are part of their core range. Ah yes, there's also a B1, but I'm not big on Hefeweizen...

I guess Cervecería Mexicana isn't the most distinctive name for a brewery, but it was huge (literally: a 50x60m pub) during prohibition, located just over the border from CA. It closed in the seventies, but reopened in 2000. It brews popular lagers, but also "craftier" styles.
