From what I’ve seen, being a terrible person is its own punishment…even if they have all outward vestiges of success, scratch the surface and you’ll find insecurity, bereavement, anger, loss.

To say the least, I did not return. That Dairy Queen was the one in Wicker Park and shut down within a few years of me being fired/quitting via bereavement. I think it got turned into a bacon bar and then a very solid Italian place.

Ty, it's not really about pet bereavement, it's the loss of the only thing (pets) which has given me the structure & support I've needed to function all my adult life. I've been thru & coped with pet bereavement before many times. But I've never before been so totally isolated & alone.

Ty. He isn't Diesel anymore. I'm really sad to say he's become a huge stressful burden which is impacting on my wellbeing. His character & personality has gone. The dementia symptoms are like what happened with mum & it's awful reliving the same living bereavement.
