This ink has a lot of pooling/shading but you can see it better with a wider nib, see the image for comparison between M (preppy) and EF (Besgu)

Here is a comparison of a Medium nib preppy and the Besgu EF nib with the same ink on the same paper. The EF nib shows much darker but doesn’t show off the shading and/or pooling attributes as much.
