On December 22nd, an F/A-18F from VFA-11 was shot down in a friendly fire incident w/ the cruiser USS Gettysburg.
Then, Truman collided with the merchant vessel Besiktas-M in Port Said, Egypt. The CO, Capt. Dave Snowden was relieved of command.
