EVERYONE HAS BLOOD. EVERYONE HAS A SKULL. ALL ARE WELCOME. BFTBG
The Warhammer 40k subreddit dedicated to the subfaction of blood-soaked superhuman berserkers is going zero tolerance on homophobic and transphobic commenters, because Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows.

Quick basing and finished the Von Ryan's Leapers thats my 40th mini! I could tell they've already killed something so I tried some blood effects, went big with the BftBG!
Hmm.. Sisters or Marines next?

Truly a fun game. Hive mind made I /think/ ~30-40 spells for a wild end-game stack of Deflecting Swats, Traumatizes and BFtBG!'s, plus a ton of other spells. Thanks for the great time @oshagod.bsky.social @joekilcarrva.com @hsmaskman.bsky.social

Can't believe I painted these Plaguebearers well over a decade ago. Overdid it on the BftBG. So young and naive... 😅
I think it's about time I painted up an Esoterist so I can get them on a Heresy battlefield this year!

My gripe with BftBG is that it's too bright right out of the pod. Needs a little black ink added for a less arterial look

I'm still super proud of this one, I used a bunch of technical paints (OK, two) to create the cracked surface of the statue and the bloody hand (of Khaine). I'd used BFTBG before but not the Mordant Earth. At first I thought I'd ruined the model but it worked really well in the end!

Oh yeah, BFTBG is a staple! I've just expanded my collection of AP effects paints though and they're fantastic. Having the dry and fresh rust has been great, and Oozing Vomit is perfect for Black Grail

Thank you - I did it in two stages, with GW's Blood for the Blood God mixed into gloss varnish to make a thinner glaze, and then selective patches of pure BftBG, some brushed on, some sponged on :)

I've never been *massively* keen on blood on minis, so it's been a bit of a learning curve! I will be making a video for YouTube on it, but essentially it was:
Flesh Tearers & Wyldood contrast mix painted on in different ratios, BFTBG splatted on, then Dirty Down Gore!

No problem! The strands are UHU glue, used a toothpick to create them along the weapon
Then I let it dry, and used blood for the blood god to give it colour. For the darker bits I added Black legion into the BFTBG, and for brighter bits I added Baal red! Hope that helps ☺️

IIRC the studio that worked on the FL cutscenes was the same studio (or, at the very least, the same prop workshop) that did the, much maligned, Inquisitor movie and the other pitch trailers (Hive Infestation and BFTBG).
Also, the actor that plays Holt was one of the 9 kings in LotR.

Now that I’ve watched a couple tourney games. The game is much more collaborative than previously thought. I can definitely see how this game attracts”that guy” but if I ever make it to a tourney I can see already having a better time win/lose than at Magic. BFTBG, SFTST

Cheers Knotley! I was worried it looked a bit pink, that came from the first stage of slipping watery BFTBG everywhere. I like it but not sure whether to tone it down for future models, leave more pure white showing through as a contrast?

The selection could be a bit better for more say, unique paints but I'm willing to get some other lines as well (eg I got some Agrellan Earth and BftBG for my blood splatters).

My first experience with 40K. 10/10. It has some cool space marine lore: they're able to hibernate in space for 10k years; able to sleep half a brain at a time, so as to remain alert around the clock... BftBG!
