Bighorn Sheep In Zion National Park, Utah, USA 🇺🇸

Bighorn sheep are incredibly nimble climbers, their hoofs are softer than most other ungulates so they can grip the rock better.

This one put on a real show. He could have gone around but instead descended the cliff right smack in front of the camera.

Those little lambs become bighorn rams. Here’s a meeting of the minds as adult bighorn sheep gather at Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦

There are currently three subspecies of Bighorn Sheep. In Yellowstone we have the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ovis Canadensis

There's approximately a dozen bands throughout the park and one of the best places to see them is over by the Kettle Ponds in Lamar Valley or on Sylvan Pass.
