ICYMI (I did), this paper pits semaglutide against semaglutide + bimagrumab (a drug designed to increase muscle mass).
At the highest dose:
Body weight decreased 22%
Fat mass decreased 46%
Lean mass decreased 3%
Those are crazy numbers. Almost scary.

Bottom line: Bimagrumab is a first-in-class myostatin/activin-axis blocker now repurposed for the obesity era. Its success will depend on whether the additive preservation of muscle compares favorably to first-generation weight-loss equivalents.
