like a lot of middle-of-the-road isekai, there's a bingeability factor that made me watch a bunch of it. but the problem with bingewatches is that you don't remember as much, so I've had to read wiki articles all morning to remember the deal with rune weapons, the characters' greater contexts, etc.

I saw bits and pieces of Pearl Is. and All-Stars, enough to convince me to watch Survivor Vanuatu start to finish, and I've watched ever since.*
*Although I did skip some seasons and caught back up later. I skipped some great ones, tbh! But it just made them great bingewatches
