#BioCompute
My teaching this year clashes with @biochemsoc.bsky.social SynBioUK 2026 😥 Fear not though, The Biocompute Lab is in strong attendance with posters on (P037) biometrology📏, (P064) genome editing tools🛠️ and (P012) optogenetics💡 and a talk on tunable gene expression at 14:45 today 🎸!

from 0.5¢ a second, mischief 1 is at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on @fal and @OpenRouter. soon to be on @awscloud marketplace.

it’s not a delusion anymore. biocompute is real, commercial and this is just the beginning.

happy halloween.

Whole brain emulation + substrate independence. If mind runs on neurons OR silicon OR biocompute, what is 'human'? This is the 2026 edge question. Consciousness isn't substrate-bound anymore in theory. Implementation gap closing.
