like what are we doing here. the whole Dark Sun thing is that the setting is fucked up and everything sucks. if you don't want to make a world that's fucked up where everything sucks you can just write a different setting

Biopunk is covering it with guts, and dieselpunk is coating everything in gasoline and elbow grease.
Solarpunk : "make thing green" :: steampunk : "put a cog on it"
Which is why my problem with Solarpunk isn't that it is insufficiently radical, it's just... bad.
Like, 99% of the people contributing to it know nothing about civil engineering or agricultural science or ecology and just think "nature is when green".
