Also, @mesquitajoanes.bsky.social attended to the National Conference of Exotic Invasive Species in Murcia, presenting results of invasive microcrustaceans in rice fields #BioScaling

Rice is growing, so field sampling in our #BioScaling project has already started. First stop: Albufera de Valencia. Here, part of our great team: Alex Mestre, Bruno Chianese, Pablo Santamaría and @mesquitajoanes.bsky.social

Second stop: Delta de l'Ebre! Here, we spotted the invasive golden apple snail 🐌. Our project #BioScaling also explores how rice fields can act as gateways for non-native species introduction and establishment. 🌾 #InvasiveSpecies

Last week was a busy week for our #BioScaling team!
We attended the workshop "Conserving and restoring temporary pond landscapes in Europe", presenting very preliminary results of our meta-analysis
