Ich weiss schon. Das ist auch der Biograph und es ist allgemein bekannt, dass sie buddies sind. Dieses Verhältnis sollte nur bei jeder Berichterstattung und jeder Kampagne zur Rückkehr immer erwähnt werden.

My Mom was a fighter from the Bronx. My Dad too. He renamed her first time they met. She didn’t like the name, Agnes; he called her Rusty. She raised us, worked at Biograph Studios. The sunshine of our days was when Mom, Dad and younger brother were mistaken as siblings.

At the time, Biograph was leaning into its full company name: American Mutoscope & Biograph. They still released all their films as both projectable motion pictures and for their mutoscope flipcard peepshow machines. Mutoscopes never really died and are still retro entertainment staples.

For those of you not in the know, Grifith made short films by the yard for Biograph 1908 to 1913, jumping to features and then independent production after.
The narrative is that Griffith's Biograph films blew the competition out of the water, nobody could compete! He was a god from the start!

By the 1900s, the movie industry had a problem: supply could not meet demand. DAVY JONES' LOCKER (1900) is a Biograph release that printed footage of a skeleton marionette over an actuality shot of a shipwreck, creating a surreal scene, and stretching existing material into new entertainment.

Got a (sealed!) copy of Biograph for cheap. REALLY enjoying it. I'm not a superfan, so this is perfect for someone like me. Sounds great, too, considering it's thin '80s vinyl.
