Lovely afternoon at @titchfieldhaven with @BirdAwareSolent, despite the end of #StormGareth still blowing a hoolie on the coast it was warm enough to find a basking grass snake looming beneath my foot on the path! 🐍

Back to the stunning Oysterbeds, one of my favourite @BirdAwareSolent winter sites. Now brimming with black-headed gull & common tern fledglings stretching their new wings from the safety of the RSPB rafts. These were Willow's first terns so she stayed #BirdAware on her lead 🐩🐣
