Trying to navigate this park is like playing a real-life game of Where’s Waldo? but Waldo is a tiny bird hiding in a massive bush.🌿🦉🐦🐦‍⬛🦫🦆🦝🤙🍁

Imagine a giant, green, multi-tentacled octopus trying to escape into Lake Ontario. That is the layout of this park. It is a massive chunk of land with random, wiggly gravel trails that look like a toddler scribbled on a map with a grey crayon. The Yacht Club (Center): The park completely surrounds a rectangular harbor packed with docks. The boats are arranged in neat, tight vertical lines. It looks exactly like a giant plastic hair comb dropped face-down into the water. Colonel Samuel Smith Skating Trail (Top Left): A circular path that resembles a giant, looping hot wheels track dropped into the grass. Colonel Samuel Smith Point (Bottom Left): A long, skinny curved peninsula that hooks out into the lake. It looks remarkably like a long, pointy wizard's shoe. Whimbrel Point (Bottom Right): The absolute bottom edge of the park. It juts out into the water like a very sharp, rocky nose sniffing the lake. Elizondo Point (Middle Right): A tiny little bump of land sticking straight out to the right. It looks like a thumb pointing aggressively at the open water. Priscila's Beach (Right): A small, curved shoreline wedged safely between the thumb and the nose points. The North Creek Wetland is a vital, naturalized marsh ecological habitat situated within the lake-fill peninsula of Colonel Samuel Smith Park.
