I completed the Swainson's and Grey-cheeked Thrush illustration over the weekend. It was really enjoyable to work on these 2 subtle American vagrants that I was lucky to see earlier this Autumn close to home. #donegalbirding

Refound the Alturlie Green-winged Teal today which has been absent for a month. Love the subtle different in the undertail flanks, darker and thinner in the GWT compared to the Euro version behind! #highlandbirds 🪶

The Taiga Bean Goose at North Point, Norfolk is a female, based on size and its passive behaviour. Birdguides continue to report as ‘Probable’ despite acknowledging “For all intents and purposes, the bird resembles a female Taiga Bean Goose.” in their weekly round-up. #NorfolkBirding
