Delighted to see this Striped Hawkmoth in Cyprus today. Not as much as this Woodchat was though! #MothsMatter #BirdingWorld #BirdingEurope

Great views of a Bimaculated Lark at Mandria, Cyprus today - what a stonker! Also some cracking looks at Cyprus Warbler in the morning at Mavrokolympos. Also very nice to see a lively Striped Hawkmoth in action. #birds #MothsMatter #BirdingWorld

Now there's a couple of birds to bring a smile to your face: Fuerteventura Stonechat and Houbara Bustard. Also a bonus Cream-coloured Courser thrown in. I bet you're feeling better now! #BirdingWorld #BirdingEurope

Stunning views of Black-bellied Sandgrouse and Cream-coloured Courser at Tindaya, Fuerteventura this morning. Bit of a shock arriving in a very busy and green Tenerife this afternoon after 5 days in a desert! #BirdingEurope #BirdingWorld

Well that's a wrap - well not quite; still 2 and a half days left. Bolle's Pigeons, Laurel Pigeons and Plain Swift up around Teno, Tenerife this morning. Also Blue Chaffinch somewhere on the slopes of Mount Teide. #BirdingEurope #BirdingWorld

You're never going to see everything but we certainly enjoyed what we saw today in Cyprus. The male Rock Thrush at Anarita was a stunner! Nice fall on Paphos headland whilst Agia Vavara produced the goods once again. How small is a Little Crake! #birds #birdscyprus #birdingworld

An excellent week in Cyprus ended in style today with over 60 Collared Pratincoles and 3 Blue-cheeked Bee-eaters at Akrotiri Marsh. The latter appearing only 10 minutes before we had to leave for our flights. #birds #birdingworld #birdingtours

Just arrived in Fuerteventura on a recce trip. An hours birding at Embalse Los Molinos produced a nice pair of Fuerteventura Chats (before the camera was out the bag) plus some nice views of Trumpeter Finch, as well as Egyptian Vulture and 77 Ruddy Shelducks. #BirdingWorld #BirdingEurope
