Happy National Bird Day! Here’s some birds I met in 2024 and my freshly bathed pidge boy, Kirby, for good measure. 🪶 🐦 #birds #nationalbirdday #birdsofbluesky #birdsofinstagram #birdsoffacebook #birdsofthreads #birbs

I’ve been very busy (and frankly also exhausted - sigh) BUT finally back with an another bird drawing. This time it’s a Winter Wren from a photo by LI birder Jim Botta. As always drawn on my trusty @supernote.com Nomad. It’s nice to be back at it. Thanks for looking! 🪶 #birds #birdsofthreads

🦉 Sometimes juvenile House Finches sport spikey feather tufts on their head just like My Favorite Martian.

I was poking through old photo files and found a raven I glimpsed in my old apple tree, and a juvenile Cooper's hawk across the street. #Birdsofthreads

10 Days later, they already are real little birds 🥰
