The most terrible joke I told in that situation btw was when talking about my birth plan with I think a doctor. I told them:
„My original birthplan was: ‚Two people get in, three come out, everyone stays alive‘ but that hasn‘t really worked out so I‘m open to suggestions.“

I leave it to White Liberals & Adjacent White peoples to belatedly remember disprop risk & outcomes 4 Black women. As well as not overlook behind every story where risk stats get pulled: there’s a person. Plus Whose agenda? incomplete picture here without knowing BirthPlan agreed by mum & hospital.

I was def sleeping, because I hadn’t had any sleep for the 24 hrs prior. Then later for sure it wore off on one side and even so, I didn’t know whether my pushing was effective
