Même des récipients en plastique pour micro-ondes relâchent des particules quand on les chauffe. On mesure des microplastiques, nanoplastiques et des additifs peu engageants (p. ex. bisphénols, phtalates).

This is surprising, said no one. By choosing foods that had minimal contact with plastics, participants in a study saw a significant decrease in their levels of phthalates, bisphenols and other chemicals. Less plastic is good for us and the Earth.

With this agreement, we want to:

❌ Ban the use of harmful chemicals such as PFAS, endocrine disruptors, and bisphenols.

💻 Ensure better use of digital tools to prevent unsafe toys in the EU.

🧸 Enable toy manufacturers to compete equally and fairly.

Receipts can contain toxic chemicals like bisphenols, but safer receipts are possible when we advocate for healthier alternatives in states like WA & encourage companies nationwide to move away from harmful bisphenols.

With this approach we can protect the health of workers & consumers everywhere!

Phthalates and bisphenols, pesticides and PFAS "forever chemicals" have been linked to harms including endocrine (hormone system) disruption, cancers, birth defects, intellectual impairment and obesity.
New research shows toxic chemicals in food systems cost us up to $2.2 trillion a year in health impacts.

Meanwhile the EU Commission wants to destroy our protections against pesticide risks. We can't let this happen, help us👉 friendsoftheearth.eu/news/raise-y...
