#birdoftheday #BlackPlumage A Black Vulture, common throughout Colombia. A Crested Oropendula, crest feather flattened. A Shiny Cowbird. A Bare Faced Ibis--iridescent highlights very visible here. In regular light they look mostly black. Fledglings have black beaks and legs as well as feathers.

Tofay's #BirdOfTheDay theme from Rob is #SeaBirds, Alt is #Black, birds with mainly Black Plumage.

I go with this impressive #NorthernBaldIbis - #Waldrapp. Photo shot at the Viennese Zoo.
