Ddeveloper Moonpyre and publisher Grindstone have released a demo for loot-driven extraction action RPG Hellforged. The demo is available now for PC via Steam. It includes two playable classes, as well as monthly challenge leaderboards. Hellforged sees players control survivors of an expedition into the Blackspire. They need to battle through hordes of demons while looking to obtain powerful gear. The game features extraction mechanics with players needing to decide whether to retreat to safety or risk pressing on for greater rewards. It is planned to release for PC later this year. Those looking to read more can check out Ryan Costa's interview with Moonpyre’s Lukas Tomondy and Tadeas Jan Michalov.   The post Hellforged Demo Released appeared first on RPGamer.

Marvel's new five-issue Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge -- Echoes of the Empire debuts this week, with a story that spans the Saga timeline yet zeroes in on events between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as Luke, Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2 travel to Black Spire on Batuu.  Written by Ethan Sacks, who's an old hand at plotting real-world aligned stories such as these (Galaxy's Edge, Halcyon Legacy), illustrated by Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado, colored by Rachelle Rosenberg and lettered by VC's Clayton Cowles, the first issue starts strong, hitting the right beats with a crafted blend of nostalgia for the Original Trilogy while proliferating The High Republic and Sequel Trilogy, too.  Comics Discussed This Week: - Galaxy's Edge -- Echoes of the Empire #1 (of 5) Star Wars Comics New to Marvel Unlimited This Week:
