Been listening to Epic the Concept Album and it got me thinking about what factions I'd put different creatures in. Let's make it a game! If you've read the book, you know a lot of them. Hit me with something from mythology and I'll tell you which faction I'd put them in! #blanclabelle #writing

I wanted to share the book blurb for Blanc LaBelle and the Troll's Daughter! Cover reveal will be coming soon and I can't wait to share this world with everyone! #BlancLaBelleandtheTroll'sDaughter #BLB:TD #BlancLaBelle #BookSky #WriterSky #ComingSoon
Book Blurb for Blanc LaBelle and the Troll's Daughter on a yellow to white gradient. It reads: Mira stands between two worlds: a half-troll who never knew her human father. She wouldn’t blend in with humans and the other trolls in her clan consider her mother a traitor for loving her. When her mother passes away, Mira breaks free of the Under into the Above, navigating the human world in search of a new home. Matt hadn’t expected a magical world hiding beneath Hedgefield, but a request from a stranger showed him the truth. When Mira pleads for his help in the grocery store, he is thrust into a world where the creatures of bedtime stories run free. The Above will be dangerous for Mira and Matt blindly follows her into a world he barely understands. Between these worlds stands Blanc LaBelle, a magical detective specializing in those of the Under coming to the surface. Among the Under and the Above, his name is spoken with equal reverence and fear. Whether it’s rescuing someone taken captive by humans or eliminating a rogue monster, LaBelle keeps peace between the two worlds. LaBelle takes the case to find Mira’s father, but what he learns along the way could reshape the Under and take the Above with it.

A red/white background and a yellow runic circle with two dots on the circle edge. Blanc LaBelle and the Innocent Vampire: Mira fears she has traded one prison for another. While she is grateful to be free of the trolls, living with LaBelle’s protections feels smothering. Out of the Under, Mira wants to prove she’s ready to live in the Above. Her chance comes when one of LaBelle’s old allies is accused of murder. Certain there’s been a mistake, LaBelle fights to prove that his friend is innocent. Mira tags along to prove to LaBelle (and herself) that she’s earned some more freedom in her new home.Meanwhile, Matt is living between the Above and the Under. When the dangers of the magical world become clear, Matt wonders where his duty lies: keeping the secrets of the Under safe or protecting his loved ones in the Above. LaBelle’s case has the potential to bring out the best and the worst of each of them. A life is on the line and survival depends on the trio working together again.
