Update on #Blogotex genAI situation for #SecondLife folks. It's still up on the main page, but there's a discussion in the "Help Improve Blogotex" section about replacing it. I don't like that it was so casually used in the first place, so I'm currently undecided about my next move.

so blogotex is planning on using submitted photos for the homepage! I'm glad to see no ai allowed but it's funny seeing that next to the ai image theyre using as a placeholder💀

I was not planning to have my eyes assaulted by garbage slop this morning, but here we are. #Blogotex really said yummy slop yum yum. #SecondLife, can I get some recommendations for alternative blogger systems please? I'm not gonna support this one any longer.

I'm shouting out @mykawinchester.secondlife.bio. 😭

I always LOVE seeing the little blurb feedback in Blogotex, and I've adored the in-world BOTM. It gives me such good happy feelings.

I'd love to blog for Static, Villena, Eliavah, and Stoic!

Realizing that some of my old posts are deleted for whatever reason >_>

Like I went through some of my old Mysteria posts that I submitted on Blogotex, and they're deleted on here? Know I had some shots I really didn't end up liking, but I don't think I deleted any of them, since others like them 🤔

That was me with SL photos for the longest time. Spent MONTHS studying stuff on twitter and blogotex, only to find out they just used AI to do the edits and soured everything for me for a while

Blogotex finally added a thingie that shows bloggers when a creator forgot to pay their subscription (instead of a brand just mysteriously vanishing from one's list).
Take this, anxiety. 🫠

While I’m personally following a good mix of store owners and regular residents, and I’ve filtered out AI, renders, and commercial posts… it’s still a big ad-fest for paid-user “Premium” blogotex crap. Also UI feels very unintuitive. I want to like it (and I use it often enough), but I just don’t.

And yes, this absolutely triggered a super heartfelt and thankful announcement post in the blogger area of my discord. XD
Screenshot of a discord announcent post: @Mystiks Good Morning everyone! I'd just like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone here for being a part of the Mysteria team. You are all such amazing, creative people and I am blessed to have you here walking beside me in this creative journey. Back in November of 2023, I was gifted Blogotex as a birthday present and setup my first blogger search in December. Since then, we've had people come and go but I still appreciate each and every one. First shoutout goes to @The Menace and @Bastet (empressciela) because they've been with me the longest now, from before we got Blogotex. They came to us earlier in 2023 via notecard applications for my first ever blogger search. Second shoutout goes to @Fey Nightingale and @Lady Noctis for still being here from the first blogotex search. The reason for this super appreciative and totally sappy ping is cause we just hit 400 approved posts in under 3 years. This is a huge and absolutely mind-blowing achievement and I only have y'all and past team members to thank, which I do so from the bottom of my heart. I've almost stopped creating so many times but the way you all express yourselves and use my poses to do so really does keep me going in those times. Thank you @Tristyn for helping me with blogotex stuff over the past nearly year (longer?), you continue to be such a huge blessing and I don't know how you do it all. XD I love you muchly, Twinny. ♥ The last shoutout goes to @Graeme Eton for being the 400th post and with a beautiful one worthy of the distinction, to boot. All of this to say, thank you, truly, madly and deeply for being such intrinsic and integral parts of the Mysteria cosmos. I don't think there are words that exist yet to show the depths of my appreciation for each and every one of you. XOXO, Myka ♥ A screenshot of a discord announcement post: @Mystiks Good Morning everyone! I'd just like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone here for being a part of the Mysteria team. I got Blogotex as a birthday gift in Nov. 2023 and did my first blogger search through blogo in Dec. I just approved the 400th post and that is absolutely mind blowing to me. 400 posts in less than three years is just amazing and I am so grateful to all my bloggers, both past and present. 😭😍🫂💜

3) As a customer, it's hard to support the brands I love right now because I'm having to save my L$ for blogotex, event fees and upload costs. I don't personally pay land rent because my RL mom graciously supports my stores that way but that would be another 4158/ week if I did.
