My son wanted me to paint an imaginary Elden Ring boss type creature, which he named “Gurney the Bloodcaller”. he didn’t know what a gurney was, and didn’t care when I told him.

Spellbound Sea includes some blood magic - just enough for a single troubadour subclass. (It reuses mechanics by @kibblestasty.bsky.social). Fairly clear spot to put a content warning in, because blood magic often involves gore and self-harm themes.
