March 2, 2026: Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa, Newbury Park, California. Bluristic app.

I’ve been using an app called Bluristic for the iPhone which combines realtime tracking and regular photography. Normally you’d track stationary objects to make moving objects blur but here I’m tracking moving objects instead which results in the background blurring like crazy.

Sometimes something comes out of my camera and I’m like well wtf was that?! This is a rather extreme example as it’s a single capture and there is nothing to explain it other than a glitch in the system. But it’s #Stunday so

Forgot to add that Bluristic basically creates that long exposure look and has a few modes for it. Neat program overall.
