I did a sketch of Mittens as a bonus 2000's character for today.

Sketching a random 2000's character and today, I sketched Bolt from the 2008 animated film of the same name.

I’ve been hard at work with @lilchairstacker.bsky.social on the next episode for Project ACE, but here’s some Patreon sneak peeks!

Trying to get back into the groove of artwork so I can crank out my commissions in a timely manner, but I wanted to share a sneak peek of a Kofi exclusive doodle!

The dream team since ‘08

Bolt and Mittens’s friendship is literally everything to me, and I can’t wait to get to that part in my AU. They have such a fun, chaotic dynamic, and will literally die for each other.

I’m shocked that I’ve been drawing *Bolt* fanart for almost twenty years (what the fu—), and I’ve never drawn Penny until last night.

Sneak peek of a Patreon exclusive!

Alright, a 2016 drawing.

It's Bolt! He's legit one of my favorite Disney characters. Watch out for his Superbark™!

Back then, I posted this on DA, but I later scrapped it. Just today, I went back and tried to improve it. For a list of changes, check the alt text.

I know there's no point of reference (maybe I'll post the old version as a reply... haven't decided yet), but here's a list of things I changed. - I made his ears smaller. They were a little too tall. - I tried to give him a more intimidating look. - I lowered his muzzle. Compared to the model from the movie, it was way too high up. - Also shortened the muzzle. It was sticking out too far. (Looking at it now, I could probably shorten it a little more...) - Reduced the size of his nose. - Redrew his tag. Also gave it some shine. - Reduced his entire body to be a little smaller. It was just way too big compared to how he looked in the movie (and how I never notice such a mistake when drawing him back then...) - Completely redrew the thunderbolt on his side, as well as gave it some scruff to indicate it's on fur. It's his mark of power, you know! - Completely redrew his tail. Now it's more relaxed, as opposed to it pointed upwards. - Made his claws and paw pads dark grey, instead of making them solid black. Before, it was hard to determine where one began and the other ended. (I toyed with doing the same to his nose and lips, but I liked them better in solid black. Probably creates an inconsistency, but...) - The middle digit on his left hind paw was way off, so I redrew it. - General line improvements here and there. Again, there are other things I can probably do, but for now, I think it looks way better than the old. I actually kind of like it now.

Ended up snagging two Bolt figures yesterday, and I finished repainting one today! The lighting made his eyes look a darker shade, but it is what it is.
The second one is going to be my OC, Ace!
