Dietrich Bonhoeffer is one my favorite Christian pastors of all time and he was spot on when said stupidity is a greater danger to society than evil.

Stupidity requires conscious action which makes it a moral decision. Its also part of why Bonhoeffer considers stupidity far more dangerous than evil.

Bonhoeffer was an anti-Nazi Christian pastor in WWII Germany. He was arrested for being part of a conspiracy to have Hitler assassinated in 1943. While he was in jail he wrote in diaries and letters a gold mine of theological, moral and ethical texts and one of them was all about stupidity.

Submitted this manuscript to T&T Clark today. There's some work to do on it yet, but I'm hoping it will join their Bonhoeffer Series relatively soon.
