Shoutout to the entire team working the #BonnevilleFire in SLC. I live 1 mile away in fed heights & watched efforts all day. Huge planes dropped retardant all afternoon. Ground crews fought hot spots & protected infrastructure. Helicopters & firemen are holding the line tonight. Just amazing work. 🙏🏻

But while firefighters have begun to place “defensive” fire hose lines in the community near the block U in the foothills, people are not being told to leave.

Last week contained now, by the hospital 🏥 super dry yellow grass below the burn scar. The whole state is popping 🔥 scary. No snow last winter 😢 no relief either. Expect lower snow ❄️ just like last winter.
