If you have a large personal e-book collection, and you use Calibre to manage it, BookFusion is without a doubt the best web-based e-reader I've found. I've been using Google Play Books, but it leaves a bit to be desired. BookFusion isn't free, but it's worth it.

i don't love subscription services so that's probably the thing i like the least, but i also appreciate that if you're not paying for a product you are the product.

Reduce White Point is such a wonderful accessibility feature. BookFusion is such a wonderful e-reader app. I de-Amazon’ed my ebooks last year and I’m thrilled with the result.
