For two to three years after that, I was mainly reading novels from different genres and barely touched any manga or manhwa, BL or otherwise. So my bookslump rn is like my past self retaliating ig haha 😭

I used to have a bookshelf now I don’t, scaled it down to one and it’s only books that has stayed with me. The rest I donated to the library. But I will admit, I’m a huge huge rereader always probably will if ever I’m in a bookslump.

I’ve read so many books lately that are just ok, but I found This Strange Eventful History by Claire Messud to be remarkable. Slow burn at first but completely engrossing. I loved it.

Instead of putting myself in a long book slump, I’ve put my current reads on pause till they sound interesting and I’ll be starting the Rose Hill series. The third book comes out early March this year, it’s a good time to start. A good ol romance book usually perks me back up
