Day 31
I look forward to reading all the new books I've bought this year, including The Heir by Sabaa Tahir, The Reformatory by Tananarive Due and, of course, my growing collection of Brandon Sanderson.

Day 30
Last book I read was horror novella The Visitor by Sergio Gomez. I finished it over Christmas and then I got sick and didn't manage to start anything else.

Most inspiring character? Honestly, I think I'll skip this one since I can't think of a good answer.

Day 28
Since I tried more romance this year, I did learn that most of the popular romance books, be it historical, contemporary or fantasy, simply don't do it for me because I prefer romance as a side plot rather than the main focus.

I read this cute little YA romance (ish) book this year which takes place in Ireland, and yep. I really want to go to Ireland! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀

Day 22: a book I wish I could live in/be a part of
I rarely want to actually live in the worlds I read about, when it comes right down to it! They are usually some really rough places. But I could handle the small coastal town in Remarkably Bright Creatures! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀

I didn't have an answer for Day 20, but here's Day 21: a series I started and plan to continue.
I mentioned this book already, but I LOVED it and will absolutely continue the series. #thiswovenkingdom #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀

Day 19: most read genre in 2024
Well, according to my spreadsheet, I categorized TEN books (of my 60 books read) as Fantasy, which was just slightly more than any other genre. Interesting!

I started some. And I read second books. My goal for next year is to finish some series! Wish me luck!
Oh, I did read the whole #Heartstopper series, but there's one more book to come. I will read it this coming year for sure.

Day 15: a book I DNFed this year
There are several that I haven't finished, but I still plan to finish them. Does this count? I can't think of one I hated and put down to never pick up again. One I truly hope to finish next year is Story Genius.

So, Fourth Wing was not worth the hype at all... imho. I know A LOT of you loved it. And like I said before, I enjoyed the story... but the writing, not so much. It was a frustrating read for me for sure.
