I was having a conversation with another lady my age and we were reminiscing about running behind the DDT sprayer trucks as kids. Yep, there we were running barefoot down the road in a thick cloud of toxic fumes having the time of our lives. Probably explains a lot.

Who remembers Halloween in the 60s and 70s? We couldn’t breathe or see with in those plastic masks, but our heightened sense for sugary goodness took us to all the best houses. Not a hovering parent in sight. Just us with our bags or pillowcases after that candy!
