@fakku.net goes all-in on the retro presentation, with a cheeky bootup screen and setting menus in a menu bar. Starting a game takes us right into the action, our protagonist Cole gets a call from a nutty professor he knows, pays a visit, and AHH! ZOMBIE CAT!

The game did have issue with black screen at bootup when running the game at high framerates on PC but they did patch that. I don't think I have crashed too much even with mods installed. The game was fairly stable.

Early coffee to circumvent the threshold that the tiredness (rather than ineffable exhaustion and the fatigue on systems\processes I have no words for) does help with that sometimes. Removes some of the need for the slow bootup.

I think the game looks fine as is but I did try to use shaders once but it was like so much of a hassle and made the game run like shit and it got to a point where it just made it impossible to run the game, it would just continuously crash on bootup until I uninstalled them

Somewhat related but the thing that stumped more was lifecycles. This is for GUI plugin system and I chose to go with singleton instances but then, how do you express dynamic reverse dependencies? How do you do it with lazy plugin bootup?

The game I'm working on has a pixelated version of it as one of the bootup splash screens. I'm planning on having it in any trailers I do too.

It's funny because apparently just today they released.. An update to fix this issue specifically?!
I suppose by not being able to get it into recovery mode.. You've tried holding the power button when the Windows logo appears on bootup 2-3 times or so you can boot into safe mode?

Went to the mall earlier to get it repaired and...it's forever stuck at the bootup screen. Yeah, it's done for 🙃
