#BootlegVerse Marvel - The Sentry... And The VOID.

#marvel #sentry #thunderbolts #bob #newavengers #thevoid #marvelau #art #fanart #void #sentry #aufanart #auart
Sentry has a depressing bit of lore for the Bootleg-Verse. What started as a genuine attempt to do good with miraculous superpowers to eventually be drifted off into space during the Great Space Race, to being forgotten by the world and consumed by the VOID, only to be used as a flesh vessel for this hateful darkness. Sentry and Void's design are very simple and basically an almost 1:1 redo of their comic book counterparts, only real difference is that I gave Sentry those glowing, golden eyes. I gave Void that cool red outline, and I used a teeth drawing technique that I took from Pastra on YouTube! Sentry doesn't ever fight the Thunderbolts in the Bootleg-Verse, he's saved for the Guardians of the Galaxy... but still, for totally not obvious reasons, I'm just posting him here!

I figured for a quick drawing showcase for #BatmanDay, I would bring you all back to the very first design of an AU Batman when I thought of the idea of making a DC AU...

#batman #art #artsky #BootlegVerse #digitalart #sketch #digitalsketch #krita #brucewayne #capedcrusader #au #auart #auproject
Very vanilla, very safe, but I still have some nostalgia for it! Gave it the classic baby blue color reminiscent of the Neil Adams Batman, his utility belt and logo would have been the same, though on the actual drawing it doesn't really show. His face was covered up in every design before the final one, which I do still prefer but, things can't always be perfect. His cape parted down the middle, I don't fully know why because when I thought more about it, it wouldn't really make sense, which is why when I made the cape for this long ago, it was a solid piece. I gave him the Brave & The Bold style where his forehead had the black shadowing minus the eyebrows, his cowl in general is based on this foam Batman Beyond helmet I found by xieng prod on YouTube and Etsy! How times change... Wow.

OH YEAH ALSO HAPPY DAY FOR THE #FANTASTICFOUR !!!

To celebrate... #BootlegVerse #Marvel - The Fantastic Four!

- Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
- Susan Storm-Richards/Invisible Woman
- Johnny Storm/Human Torch
- The Thing/Ben Grimm
- H.E.R.B.I.E.
To begin, the uniforms of the Fantastic Four went through some changes in the few years I've been drawing them. Originally they had suits that were similar to the World's Greatest Heroes suits, then I gave them the classic blue and white jumpsuits from the comics, until finally I was inspired by the SPD Power Rangers/Dekarangers, specifically the Yellow Ranger, to give them the big number four on the side of the costumes, which separates the colors! The only differences for the characters are Johnny's with his added flame decal, and Ben's suit being designed after Potemkin from Guilty Gear [- STRIVE -], I always had Ben wearing a full uniform minus the pants, although no-shirt Ben goes hard af. H.E.R.B.I.E. was modeled after Astro Bot! When the game came out I had only made one design for H.E.R.B.I.E. that looked to be inspired by ROB the Robot, but after Astro Bot came out I was kind of in a mood, so this is the new HERBS! I think he's simply adorable, as H.E.R.B.I.E. should be!

- Peter Komori Parker, The Undefeatable Spider-Man
- Benjiro "Ben" Reilly, The Sensational Scarlet Spider
- Kaine Komori Parker, The Vengeful Scarlet Spider
- Eddie Brock Jr., VENOM
- Patrick Matsuda, TOXIN

#spiderman #marvel #bootlegverse #art #marvelau #fanart
My design for a shonen-inspired Marvel universe, and I of course started with my favorite hero: Spider-Man! Took some inspirations from the Unlimited Classic suit, Insomniac Advanced suit, and of course the classic Ditko black and red color combo! Scarlet Spider(s)! These were done later down the road compared to the others, but I decided to give Kaine and Ben their own spin on the outfits; going for a more MMA fighter approach for Ben, and Kaine to have the pinkish red of his original costume from his first appearance! Eddie Brock, who in this universe is the anime-himbo archetype! Inspired him off of Kazuma Kiryu's Hawaiian shirts from Yakuza 3 and Goda Ryuji's impressive sideburns in Yakuza 2! VENOM's tattoos were heavily inspired by Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen, where I tried my best to incorporate the spider logo into the design, along with the 90s Animated Series style of shading! Inspired Patrick's design off of Leon from RE2 but I made him older to fit the vibe of Pat. TOXIN is where I took some creative liberties, inspiring his tattoos off of Akaza from Demon Slayer (not a fan of the show, but designs are fire). I decided to give him the same shading treatment, this time with orange and purple!

Bootleg!Marvel, Spider-Man Stuff Part 2!

- Mary Jane Sakuma-Parker/The Stunning Spinneret
- Felicia Hardy/Black Cat

#bootlegverse #marvel #spiderman #marvelau #art #auart #blackcat #blackcatmarvel #spinneret #spinneretmarvel #spider-man
MJ is NOT a super all the time. Tl;dr, she gets a DNA splicer, much like the Renew Your Vows comics, thanks to Johnny Storm in this universe's Maximum Carnage event. She can tap in to a 12 hour period of having spider powers but the splicer must recharge for 24 hours. With that in mind, I based this design of Spinneret HEAVILY off of Jack-O' Valentine from Guilty Gear, she does have a logo on the back but I never drew it here, I'll draw it one of these days. I also gave her a hot pink color so that her hair wouldn't blend in with the suit! I really wanted that classic Black Cat look but I needed to have a more, higher class version seeing how Bootleg!Felicia is the owner of a cabaret club in Botendori (Brooklyn + Dotenbori/Sotenbori). I also wanted to really go into the cat motif as I feel BC could really benefit from that, plus it's cute! She's got the classic ears and tail combo, she has her ponytail tied to look like a ball of yarn, and she even has a sewing needle pin to go with that yarn! All completed with the high boots, sewn in corset, and the fut that really makes this Black Cat look like the classic femm fatale archetype!

#BootlegVerse #Marvel - The Starslingers

- Christopher Powell/Darkhawk
- Richard "Blazin'" Ryder/NOVA PRIME

#marvelau #au #auart #art #novaprime #nova #darkhawk #richardryder #richardryder #guardiansofthegalaxy #samalexander
Darkhawk was really fun to do, for being an obscure character that most probably don't know of, I didn't have much holding me back in terms of making a design for the Bootleg-Verse; so, I decided to inspire him off of a Warlock from Destiny, specifically off of this specific Warlock cosplayer I befriended at Holiday Matsuri '23! So basically merge Darkhawk's classic design with a Warlock base design from Destiny and we have the star-striking cowboy of the cosmos, and Richard Ryder's best friend after all of his were wiped out in the Annihilation Wave! NOVA PRIME... My favorite cosmic Marvel hero. I literally didn't do much with NOVA's design besides give him a mouth guard (that can retract to show his mouth) and giving him a ponytail... Which I remember seeing the Cosmic Invasion trailer and it seems me and some character designer(s) had the same idea in giving NOVA a badass ponytail! Really makes the Human Rocket appeal stand out even more! I do wish I made the ponytail a little bigger, but it is what it is, still looks cool!

#TimelessDC - The Bat-Family (3/3)

- Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
- Cassandra Cain/Black Bat
- Stephanie Brown/The Spoiler

#dc #dccomics #batgirl #blackbat #thespoilerdc #spoiler #stephaniebrown #cassandracain #barbaragordon #oracledc #art #digitalart #artsky #au #auart #dcau #batman #bootlegverse
So, for Batgirl; I took the same liberties of a lot of other designs in that I took a modern look, and the LEGO Batman Movie look, and kind of made it my own. Although, I will also say the idea of the hooded bat-cape was actually an idea I took inspiration from another artist and his own Batman AU: Raza or @/rxzarx on Twitter (idk if he has a BlueSky). So with that, I went with an impromptu vigilante look, stitched up like Batman and Catwoman, and gave her combat boots and extra pouches, and a Party City looking belt to emphasize how homemade this costume is... while also looking like a costume still. I didn't make this look like a leather jacket kind of suit, so this is still spandex but with the added bits of other around-the-home stuff, it gets the point across! Oh, and since she's the daughter of Jim Gordon, she has her own customized tonfas! But it's not just her police ties that make this Barbara in the weapons; but also her story: Barbara is a social activist, she attends protests, rejects the law sometimes and gets into the precinct more times than her father would wish. As the Batman continues to grow in popularity in the papers and radio, Barbara would be inspired and take up her own nightly escapades to sabotage the corporations and organizations she protests in the day, while still leaving room for the police to enact true justice onto them. Batman is hesitant and at first refuses the help, but Barbara does this out of her own word, not Batman's. Ah Cassandra, my favorite female character in the Bat-Family. She's basically taking her iconic design from the comics, just with a few added bits of detail to fit within the Timeless world. Like the stitching of the seams, the logo, and her mouth area is sewed up like the books. I made her cape two-toned cape idea from Batman: Arkham Shadow, at least on the outside... Though I guess you can consider this a three-toned cape because of the black, gray, and yellow but you get the point. Same stitches apply to make this really put-together batsuit, I even made her high collar different from Bruce & Tim's! And, unintentionally but a really cool detail, if you look at Cass and Bruce's sheets side-by-side, they're almost making the same pose! They're the perfect dynamic duo even in AU form! Standard lore stays the same: Cass is the daughter of Lady Shiva and David Cain but is taken away after David and Shiva have an argument that led to a fight, and their home burning down. Cain would teach Cass to be a cold killer and she would be successful in taking one life and being haunted to the core, eventually faking her death and taking a vow of silence. But after migrating to Gotham in hopes of a lead to find her mother, Cassandra would see the shadow of the Bat and be inspired by his escapades, soon becoming Bruce's true right-hand. So, much like the main DC universe, I have Steph as more of a 'part-time' member rather than a full-on member of the Bat-Family, but I couldn't just have her in her own post, she's gotta rep with the team! And thus, Timeless Spoiler is... Pretty much classic Spoiler. Yeah, her design is just, that good and iconic to where you can really only do your own take on the classic design, or at least how you'd draw it! Black and Purple color scheme, pouches and straps, and the expressive white eyes; like I said: classic! As for lore, for those who read Tim's bio; Steph is the daughter of the headmaster of her private school, as such she gets a lot of privilege and the likes, but she still has a sense of right and wrong even if people just see her as the dumb blonde; Steph was taught the basic essentials from her mother while she learned the arts of pick pocketing and being a sleuth from her father, while never actually using them until she became a vigilante. After she hears about a vigilante prowling the floors of her private school, she makes her own disguise and eventually helps Robin with his sting operation and continues on as 'The Spoiler' for a good while, even if Tim soon becomes an overly protective boyfriend.
