#BorderFire14 the Helitack crew will start to line this out with handtools. I think an engine is still assigned as well. This is a very remote location and drive time is extended for fire engines. Copter 603 assisting with a water drop.

#BorderFire14 Two Type-3 engines and a water tender now on scene. The white engine is U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service E8331. They protect the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge which is adjacent to this area. In the business, they are known as "Fish & Feathers." Just great hardworking folks!
