bossgame is a game i spent a lot of time tweaking to feel good, but some of the most memorable parts are nonsense i chose on a whim bc it was funny and i could slap it together in a day. need to embrace that

the more technically skilled i get at things like art & design, the higher my own bar becomes to do things "perfectly" rather than "sufficiently", which (sometimes) gets in the way of cutting loose & having fun
i should really keep in mind how ridiculous & messy i let myself be with BOSSGAME...

BOSSGAME: The Final Boss is my Heart is an excellent queer arcade game about lesbians fighting monsters in dungeons and features art from so many artists I'm a fan of. Very challenging but lots of options to make the game easier if you just want the story.
i really did put my beating heart into Bossgame. i am genuinely proud of it, and people reaching out to tell me it made them cry and inspired them felt like a stained glass window shattering; i didn't know i was capable of it
i truly hope i can reach out and speak to people in the future, too..!
