In 1994, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board funded a ballot initiative to ban rent control. Renters had no equivalent war chest.

AgeStrong, EnvironmentalHealth, BostonHousing, etc. only help renters. I'm a senior with disability who pays property taxes on my condo unit. Turns out I'm not eligible for assistance from any city of the Boston programs I pay for.
