Witness the awesome power of BothSides™

Find someone who loves you as much as the NYT loves obfuscating the truth to push a bullshit bothsides narrative
lol *incredible* framing

idk, this article is pretty terrible across the board, like, it tries to present a cynical bothsides argument for something that just isn’t a bothsides problem

The @nytimes.com continues their quest to bothsides us to death.
lol *incredible* framing

Live by the bothsides, die by the bothsides.

"Ei pidä politisoida viatonta jääkiekkoa, pelaamme pelit hyvässä urheiluhengessä ja tilille kilisee aina rahaa, kun näin sanomme... Niin juu ja bothsides!"

Given how often people revert to “BothSides,” I think it’s important to note that this isn’t a “The Democrats” thing; It’s a “These particular Dems in leadership positions” thing.

bothsides-ing
November 2, 2026 at 2:13 PM
come now, you cannot expect the @nytimes.com to spout anything but disguised bothsides-ism.

The GOP has become so off-the-charts corrupt and extreme that it's impossible to bothsides them any more without it being really obvious what's happening.

It took way too long, but we're finally there.

One day I was a bothsides centrist, then I quit watching CNN.
October 31, 2026 at 2:05 AM
Josh jumped to both-sidesism first, then pivoted to "it is UNpossible for him even to try."
October 28, 2026 at 6:03 PM
I understand, however, at this moment in time the corruption is so massive on one side & the cruelty so obvious, it wld be unethical to play the 'bothsides' card.
Let's do what we can to right the ship and then we can make the effort to cast off some 1% Dems on a deserted island somewhere.

So meek and docile through 21 months of multiple-Watergates-per-day scandals but throw a little bothsides chum in the water and they’re right back to being piranhas
October 30, 2026 at 7:50 PM
They accuse the other side of the things they're planning to do, or are already doing, so that when they do those things the press can slot it neatly into a bothsides narrative with zero repercussions or accountability.

I’m with you. So sick of the #Gaslighting and #BothSides shit 💩
October 29, 2026 at 10:15 PM
Republicans are running the most corrupt administration in the history of our nation so media has to elevate penny-ante bullshit to maintain bothsides framing, which naturally favors the more guilty party by minimizing their crimes.
October 29, 2026 at 9:25 PM
NYT went looking for a story they could use to bothsides the endless firehose of Republican corruption.

That the story didn’t run until it was too late, is perfectly legal despite being politically underhanded, and it doesn’t fucking matter because Alaska has ranked choice voting, says a lot.
October 31, 2026 at 2:21 PM
Considering how ranked choice voting works, there are 30+ more consequential "October Surprise" contestants on the GOP side. (Trump/Russian redux!)
The WSJ is oligarch's classic mouthpiece. This is what Trump/Elon/Ellison/Bezos/etc WANT you to believe.
And the #bothsides NYT set it all in motion.
Allegations that Democrat Mary Peltola’s campaign secretly worked to recruit a spoiler candidate to help her party win the pivotal Alaska seat—and potentially retake control of the Senate—has become this midterm election’s biggest October surprise. 🔗: on.wsj.com/4yPvMTG
