Rock art comes from a site located in Lesotho (KwaZulu-Natal Museum – after Vinnicombe 1976). This depicts a fishing in which weir baskets are being deployed to capture fish, most likely in a freshwater context, with two figures steam pushing the fish towards the weirs.
