Stop using standard Raycasts for ground checks. Switch to a BoxCast. It fixes edge-case jitter and prevents players from "sliding" off thin platforms. It’s a 2-minute fix that instantly makes your platforming feel professional.

During testing, onTrigger collision proved to be unreliable. Now, with a boxCast (paused when it appears -> yellow gizmo appearing on the axe head)... You will accurately hit your opponents every time! (hopefully! lmao)

Originally I used a raycast to detect the wall during dash and transition into wallbonk. This "worked" but lead to a problem where the player would clip into the ground if dashing to close to the ground. @garbagebagalt.bsky.social and I instead used a boxcast node which accounted for a larger area.

Ah I think an issue I'm having with this simple 3D physics I'm doing is my BoxCast isn't ray casting to find the collision point until my player collider box and other box colliders overlap, when I should be testing if a new AABB projected ahead of the player overlaps the other box

Unity、ずっと直そうと思ってた「足元に壁がない&それより上には壁がある状態で壁に衝突すると主人公がガガガッてなる問題」「登れるはずの坂道でもずり落ちていく問題」を解決すべく手を出した
