@calamanderso.bsky.social & Mann reviewed the material assigned to the Middle Triassic brachyopoid Hadrokkosaurus from Arizona and identified specimens that belong to at least one other brachyopoid with fewer, larger teeth and another indeterminate temnospondyl. doi.org/10.3897/fr.2...
Photographs and interpretive illustrations of the holotype lower jaw of the Middle Triassic brachyopoid Hadrokkosaurus bradyi. The jaw is nearly complete, curving in the anterior half, with many preserved teeth. A long retroarticular process extends posteriorly from the jaw articulation. Photographs and interpretive illustrations of the partial lower jaw of the proposed non-Hadrokkosaurus holotype. The jaw is only complete anteriorly and preserves fewer but larger teeth than the comparably sized holotype of H. bradyi. Curvature at the symphysis may also be less.
