Only reason I think it wasn’t Bradish is because he wasn’t with the team. Which leaves Baz and Young assuming it wasn’t a player who was named in the article, which is my assumption because the article says 10 players were interviewed.

I really think it could be any of the starters because they were all negatively affected by poor defense. Mostly Baz and Bradish too

1. Ace (like every year of the Elias tenure except when he got Corbin burnes and Bradish got hurt, so instead opted not to have a # 2 starter)
2. Catcher (Basallo catching a max 80 games)
3. Left fielder
4. Mid rotation starter
5. Like 3-4 bullpen guys, at least one really good

The rotation was a relative strength for much of the season, and they’ve got some good arms starting in the upper minors next year, but Bradish, Baz and Young is not a playoff rotation. They need to bring back Rogers and/or acquire someone else who could legitimately pitch a Game 2 or 3.
