I have loads of sensors around my home, and use HomeAssistant to control my lights and heating. But *controlling* stuff like fridges, washing machines and coffee makers is absurd even to me. That said... I do want to hack my breadmaker to create custom programmes better suited to my weird recipes.

I love baking bread, but skip the breadmaker, get yourself a mixer. Maker bread crust is sad. It doesn't save significant time. And it doesn't do flatbread, pretzels, pizza.

dylan is making some bread in my mum's 24-year-old breadmaker for the first time since mum died and we inherited it. exciting! we're also using slightly OOD yeast and bread flower, this is truly a test run to see if any bread is produced at all.

Yum! My farmer’s market breadmaker has a rye loaf with walnuts and raisins that is so tasty. Put some Brie on top and you’re in heaven.

I've got everything ready to bake some bread, well chuck it all into the breadmaker, but the skies have been threatening a thunderstorm all day. Be just my luck to get half baked and the power goes down for 6 hours as usual. Wish it would make up it's mind!
