As for balancing encounters, I think that you can use the total number of hearts of the players characters as a ♥️ budget for encounters. For 4 characters with a total of 12 ♥️:
6-11 ♥️ minor encounter
12-18 ♥️ challenging encounter
19-24 ♥️ big bad encounter

I decided to make a new BREAK!!RPG character. His name is Darcel MacDhuibh. A white-collar worker who got isekai'd right before a mental break. So when he arrived, he snapped and became a violent mercenary to survive.
