Perhaps not the most exciting beers ever, but Brewpoint is probably the best thing to happen for Bedford’s pubs in decades. Yes there are a couple of specialist beer pubs, but for too long it’s been a choice between the dull old-fangled beers of Greene King and Charles Wells for most of the town.

I had a great afternoon at Brewpoint today, recording a podcast episode with @beerwithtim.bsky.social, having a tour of the brewery, and sampling several of their beers - six after the tour and three over some lunch. Really impressed with the beers.

Found a lonely pine in MKE before another trip to Elmhurst for an important meeting at BrewPoint Coffee w/a large local employer. Also made a trip to nearby Villa Park to see the great Golden Pheasant & the site of the original Portillo's. It has pics of the King and The Boss! #HouseinElmhurst

Brewpoint do some really excellent low and zero abv beers. They do an alcohol free IPA that tastes just like the alcohol version.
