A short video of yesterday’s Battle of Tumhalad at Lard Workshop, Britcon 2026. This was inspired by The Silmarillion - always fun doing games based in the First Age of Middle-earth!

A quick Punic War recap ready for Britcon.
I'll be roaming at Britcon this Saturday when I really should be KS prepping but I need to get out and see humans (and maybe pick up some terrain...!) It's in Leicester this year so I am intrigued!
Come say hello if you see me, I might even have cool things on me.

HIS NAME IS PETE and he'll have a bunch of Bad Squiddo Minis all weekend at Britcon! Hooray! @fourscorewoodwork.bsky.social is the name, and their game is woodworking but also stocking cool hobby things. I (Annie) will be there, but mostly playing at the TooFatLardies Workshop on Saturday!

It’s great to be able to make the Lard Workshop event at Britcon in Leicester this August. There’s a double dose of Midgard Heroic Battles, with Matt Slade running Hastings 1066 and me doing Tolkien’s Battle of Tumhalad from the Silmarillion. #miniatures #wargaming #spreadthelard #nerdlings
