Florists are also murmuring about Dutch import delays again — port issues, high fuel costs, and generally tight supply chains. It’s nudging more of them to look local, especially for June stalwarts like cornflowers, ammi, larkspur, and scabious.

The cat uses my tulip bed as a toilet. Lucky for me, im not the only one in the area growing them. The UK imports circa 86% of their cut flowers, but tulips form some of our homegrown market, as the climate is good for them. #tulips #seasonalfloweralliance #britishflowers #britishflowergrowers
