#BroadStrokes
big issue is the broadstrokes uses of 'the left' and 'liberals' when talking about tendencies of subgroups within

GO fans I love you, you’re my people

But we gotta stop painting broadstrokes with the people behind the scenes and David and Michael and assuming every bit of bad news means no one wanted to do this

Let's run through just ONE example of what will enfold with govt's new TESTING PRIVITIZATION PLAN
Simplifying in broadstrokes a common example:
Take a 35yo female with heavy pelvic bleeding and irregular menses, who has no FM doc.

You know, I haven't seen a single takes-merchant try to exploit Igor Tudor's failure at Spurs for a broadstrokes swipe against Croatian managers or managers "from" HNL. Only applicable for Americans and MLS, apparently.

Understanding the broadstrokes of class war does not require sophistication.

...yeah, turns out most of what I remembered of this show was broadstrokes or bits of characterization

I am hazy on some of the details but the broadstrokes of that are stained deeply into my soul because it's so many of the most important facts about who Donald Trump is and how he is able to do what he does... it explains so much about his life, and about how to fight him.

I guess its their thing? Idk im not well versed on them beyond the broadstrokes of why they’re shitty

Thoroughly enjoyed the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe! I was moved way more than I thought I'd be, given that I knew the story very broadstrokes.

Next up: Prince Caspian
Reading in publication order, for those wondering haha

Im about halfway thru The Lion Witch & Wardrobe and I love the way even simply the name Aslan sparks joy and excitement in the kids even tho they know nothing else about him!

Also, love the white witch descendent of Lilith lore lol
Reading the Chronicle of Narnia series because I never have and think Id like it

*broadstrokes*, if you substitute Heathcliff with Tony Montana, the Yorkshire Dales for Miami, and, uhh Cathy for like, an obscene amount of cocaine, Scarface makes a pretty decent adaptation of Wuthering Heights, actually

ive had the broadstrokes of the miniarcs in my head for a while but that still needs connective tissue and timing and a general sense of how it all fits together. and its coming together

it's not that there's no difference between the dems and the gop. it's that the differences are in detail and image, not the broadstrokes of their ideology and practice.

One of the (many) things I love about Decuma is the flexibility. You can be incredibly detailed and get into every facet of the world and your characters' relationships to it, or take a more broadstrokes approach - all according to what the table desires. Also fantastic for solo plays!
Let destiny guide your next #ttrpg campaign!

Decuma is a system-neutral tarot-inspired card deck that helps PCs and GMs collaboratively build character connections, location details, and world dynamics before a die is ever rolled.

It's why when they say the 2nd bit, which is pretty broadstrokes, you must always ask 'Explain. Elaborate on what you mean by them as tools for filmmakers and how they'd drive down VFX costs and make things easier. Can you be specific?'

At least this announcement lays bare the specifics, I suppose.

I think this is why indie games are, rightly, everywhere nowdays. In broadstrokes, cheaper than AAA, more intresting gameplay loops or functions, wackier more memorable art styles not going for hyper realistic face pores so they can run on much older hardware. At least imo.

That's the broadstrokes of it.
Helluva slippery slope. If that law holds up, which it shouldn't, what will the next be & the one that follows?

I'm rewatching Homer's Barbershop Quartet cause I like BARELY remember it and oh my god this is reminding me the Beatles' Myth used to be etched SO large into pop culture EVERYONE knew it and now I'm not sure most folks could give you the broadstrokes anymore? did the "bigger than jesus" thing fade?

Gilgamesh rejecting Ishtar is a scene that too often gets misinterpreted because everything nowadays gets colored through modern culture wars even when it makes no sense to apply them. As a result, the comedy of the scene is lost.

The broadstrokes of the scene are as follows:

Same exact experience.

Been abroad quite a bit for work the last 5 years, have not really been despised anywhere, and what I have heard about Americans in broadstrokes has most often been that we're weirdly friendly.

The reason conspiracy theories are popular, imo, is multifaceted and too nuanced to get into fully

But i think core to it is just

People don't know how things work. Are only taught broad concepts. So when they see things that contradict those broadstrokes, it becomes a betrayal

Texture and Specificity are the great terror of the average comics creator.

Abstraction and Broadstrokes are the best friend, because they allow for good cover.

But yeah, always funny how this sort of almost total disinterest in capturing people outside of an insular bubble is all too common.
