Microsoft is the priority target for @nogamesforgenocide.com given the tech corp's ties to the IDF, & small indie developer @allwillrise.bsky.social recently broke contract with Xbox to support the campaign.

I spoke to them about their decision & why progressives must take up more space in games.
Why a small indie game developer put Palestinian liberation before profit
A small indie game developer joined the No Games for Genocide campaign, even though it meant giving a significant chunk of money back to Microsoft.

You know, I used to think that CorpseSyndrome was a good developer and artist behind Mario: The Music Box. But when the news broke out, and she committed murder, what she did was horrible and deserves to be thrown in prison.

Unbelievable.

Was a developer for a game franchise in the Nintendo 64 era. Was in a relationship with another dev at the same company. I hid a marriage proposal in one game, which she still has not found. I hope she never does find it. We broke up after she went insane & tried to stab me

It's weird that I need to say this in 2025, but even if you are the most broke-ass game developer alive, you should not capture 10-15fps footage for a trailer.

You're allowed to ask someone with a decent PC to record it for you. You probably know *someone*. For your own sake, capture good video!

I was able to check out Stupid Never Dies via a presentation by developer GPTrack50, a new studio led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Seems real neat, but I saw it before news broke that NetEase Games is about to cut funding for Nagoshi Studio & GPTrack50 is in that same boat.
Stupid Never Dies has a zombie that can eat monsters to turn into different fantasy monsters, and it calls its parry the Stupid Parry. Here's what we learned. https://www.rpgsite.net/preview/19843-stupid-never-dies-run-based-action-rpg-about-eating-enemies-to-change-into-different-fantasy-monsters

Lots of rumors in NYC however, that he gave info to FBI in exchange for being untouchable. Because he broke SO many laws as a NYC developer.

Just rumors - no evidence - but heard them pre his political career & presidency.
